The Cheap Beast

As there is still no review, I quickly want to state my opinion on this card. I bought him as an investment when he was 23k. I built a team around some of the Ligue 1 TOTS cards and noticed that he was absolutely banging goals for my team in Squad Battles on legendary difficulty. So I started to use him in online friendlies as well to do the weekly objectives and he nearly scored everything. His shooting is sublime, he hits the ball so damn hard. He has not missed many chances for me. His finesse shots are also brilliant (he has the finesse shot trait). In addition to that, he is very good on the ball and feels extremely agile for a tall guy. Another pro is his strength (99).

The biggest con is his lack of skill moves, he can't even do a roulette on this game. If you keep that in mind, you will be fine. His 3 star week foot hasn't been an issue for me so far.

Unpacked this card from an SBC and was intrigued. The player I can compare him to the most is Giroud. A tall physical strike target man with little agility or dribbling technique. I read the review that said he has powerful long range shooting which would be good since he likes to stay on the edge of the box for some reason (eventhough I have the instructions set for him to be forward, into box for crosses, press back line etc) but I couldn't sink any in back of the net. You would also think with the physical specimen he is that he would be able to win balls back from defenders after getting dispossessed but this is not the case. And bc je is so slow he can't run them down when they accelerate away either. Where he really excels is on Corners as a target man. He has great instincts to find the crease and bc of his size he out jump just about anyone. This does not make him worth a 92 or even close though. He's more like a 82. I'm trying to sell him on the market for 22k but I might just accept the quick sell for 20k as no one (rightfully) seems like they're willing to pay for him.
